Begbie’s Nightmare #

I wandered into a room where some friends were watching MTV. The tune playing was fairly pleasant.

“This is OK. Who is it?”

“It’s Texas.”

“Oh.”

“You detest Texas, don’t you?”

“Er… yeah.”

“So, how do you feel now, having just described this song as ‘OK’?”

“Like Begbie in Trainspotting when he’s making out with someone and suddenly finds that ‘she’ is a man.”

“Er… ok, whatever.”

Well, I knew what I meant, anyway. This isn’t the first time I’ve been in this situation either - I must make a mental note to find out who is singing before I pass comment!
