Day Four - Rest Day

More rain. So we sat in Braemar Youth Hostel, and wrote postcards, read the newspapers, but most of all just watched TV. This Morning, The Labour Party Conference, ​Fifteen-To-One, Countdown​… it was just like being a student again. Richard and Judy are still icons of daytime TV, Blair still doesn’t use verbs (112 syntactical orphans in a single speech!), and Richard Whitely still makes the most piss-poor jokes this side of the ​Zoe Ball Breakfast Show​.
