Think of the Money #

Today hasn’t been quite so depressing. Or maybe it’s just been less of a culture shock, and I’m becoming reaccustomed to this aspect of my life. Comfortably Numb, as The Floyd once said.

In the genre-defining ​Lifestyle Tips For The Dead​, Grinder has made a shibboleth out of the phrase “Think of the money”, and he does have a point. Maybe it’s the only point - a regular wage is the only reason I’m doing this, that’s for sure.

A series of phone calls from friends has also helped to keep me in touch with my preferred lifestyle - keep the social momentum of the Christmas holiday flowing. We’re desperately trying too arrange our next sojourn to Scotland - get 1999 kicked off properly.
